Signature Executive Fitness Services

Perfect for the busy executive, our Signature Execytuve Fitness Services gets you to your desired goals in the shortest time possible.  You'll be assigned a dedicated fitness professional who will coach you through every step of the way until you reach your desired goals.  All Signature Fitness clients work 1-on-1 with their trainer in our private fitness studio.

It is reassuring to know that many sophisticated fitness consumers have chosen to entrust Desk Jockey Fitness to coach them to achieve their fitness and performance goals.  Based on the C.H.E.K Institute's High-performance Exercise and Kinesiology program, you can be assured that your custom exercise program will deliver the results that today's demanding fitness consumers expect.

Whether your goal is to lose weight, recover from an injury, get back in shape after some "time off", increase your productivity at work, or enhance your sports performance, our Signature Fitness Services will clearly define the steps to take you to your desired goals.

The lifecycle of our Signature Fitness Services is based upon five parts:

  1. Assessment and Evaluation.  In greater detail than most people anticipate, the following areas will be evaluated to design your individualized exercise program:
    • Health and exercise history
    • Posture
    • Gait (walking and running)
    • Joint range of motion and stability
    • Performance testing of the abdominal wall
    • Functional movement and motor skills
    • Strength and coordination
    • A written report of findings is optionally available for you or your healthcare professional
  2. Custom Program Design. Based on information from step 1, a custom exercise program will be developed to get you on the path to achieve your goals.  Considerations will be made with respect to your time, equipment availability, and travel/work schedules.
  3. Exercise Instruction.  Your fitness coach will guide you through each specific stretch and exercise that has been specified for your to progressively obtain your goals.  Since our programs are very comprehensive and specific to the individual, you may opt to have your instruction sessions video taped; particularly if you do not live within commuting distance to our facility.
  4. Program Implementation.  In most cases our clients choose to perform their exercises under the guidance of their fitness coach.  During this phase your coach will hold you accountable to make your scheduled appointments and perform each exercise with the optimal load, tempo, repetition and set count.  If your travel schedule does not allow in-studio implementation, you may opt to implement your flexibility and strength conditioning programs in the facility of your choice.  Depending on your condition, this phase typically lasts between 4 and 6 weeks.
  5. Program Progression.  A reassessment every 4-6 weeks is recommended to quantify your progress.  Based on your results and new custom program will be created to ratchet up your progress.

Desk Jockey Health and Lifestyle Coaching Services

Being fit should mean much more than just trim waistlines and enlarged muscles.  True fitness starts on the inside and works it's way out.  What good is a body builder's body if your immune system is weak and you're too sick to show off your Greek-god-like body?  Based on the C.H.E.K Institute's Health and Lifestyle Coaching (HLC) program, your health and lifestyle habits will be evaluated to establish a "priority list" that when seriously addressed, will result in maximum improvements in energy, immune function and overall health.  The ONLY way to lose weight is through a steady course of lifestyle modifications, including nutrition, sleep, stress, and more!

Thanks to the internet, HLC clients can expect outstanding results regardless of their geography.  All services can be delivered through phone coaching sessions without any degradation in results.

Health and Lifestyle Coaching participants can expect to take the following steps:

  1. Initial Testing.  Two tests will be taken by all participants; a 6 part Lifestyle test and a 1 part Metabolic Typing test.  The lifestyle test will help to identify which areas of your life need to be addressed first to help you get to a healthier more vital you.  The metabolic typing test will be used to help us determine which types of food choices will be most advantageous for you as an individual.
  2. Priority and Goal Setting.  Taking on too many changes at once will sabotage even the most committed participants.  Instead, we will identify lifestyle and nutrition modifications that will have the maximum bang for your effort.  Making changes to things that we've been doing every day for years is not easy.  By breaking down the changes into incremental parts you can be assured of your success.
  3. Priority and Goal Follow-up.  Even the best laid plans will have setbacks.  This is when our "coaching" model really kicks in.  You will have questions as to how, why, when and if.  We will provide you with the support and encouragement to develop your own belief systems that is based on knowledge and fact.
  4. Reset Goals.  Continuous improvement requires goal updates.  During this phase we will go back to your test results and determine the next set of achievable goals to further your progress.

  • Since we are not a membership-based gym, all clients workout under the supervision of their fitness coach.

  • Signature Fitness and Lifestyle coaching sessions are available in 30 minute and 60 minute formats.

All Signature Fitness and lifestyle services are by appointment only.  In order to help you reach your goals, it is essential that you have a clear understanding of what you hope to achieve.  HOW you will achieve those goals will be our responsibility.  The commitment to TAKE the steps to achieve your goals will be your responsibility.  We will hold you accountable; we can not do the work for you.
